Some of the opportunities available to recent graduates
are the Rotation Program, full benefits, an assigned
mentor, and various groups and clubs to help you meet
your fellow employees and have fun!
Are your internships and recent graduate opportunities
paid?
Yes. Internships are paid based on credit hours completed.
New graduates are paid on the same scale as all other
employees.
If I am hired as an intern at HBC, does this mean
I will have the opportunity to be hired as a regular
employee if I do well during my internship?
An internship does not guarantee a job after graduation,
but we do offer a high percentage of our interns permanent
positions.
How do I get to my interview once I arrive at HBC,
and where can I park?
Proceed East on Central near Webb Rd. Take the first
right (Goebel) and proceed until a security shack
prevents you from driving further. Take a left into
the visitors parking lot, park, and walk across Goebel
into the staffing office. The security station is
just inside.
What do I need to bring on my first day, and where
do I go?
Your first day will consist of orientation training
and a tour of the HBC square mile. The group will
meet in the Employment Office, B63, for badge photos
and will continue from there. Be sure to wear closed
toed and closed heeled shoes!
Where should I look for housing in Wichita?
The talent acquisition team has a list of apartment
complexes and areas in town where interns and new
grads frequently choose to live. They can provide
this list to you upon request, or you can visit
