Hawker Beechcraft Savings and Investment Plan

The Hawker Beechcraft Savings and Investment Plan is a 401(k) savings plan that allows employees to save up to 50 percent of their pay on a pre-tax or post-tax basis (subject to federal limits). The company matches 100 percent of employees’ contributions up to the first 4 percent of eligible compensation they save. Company-matching contributions are invested in the same options employees elect for their contributions. There are 35 investment options in the plan; and it accepts rollover contributions from other qualified plans such as from a former employer's.

Retirement Income Savings Program

Hawker Beechcraft Corporation and Hawker Beechcraft Services offer a retirement program for eligible newly hired and/or rehired salaried exempt and non-exempt employees, called the Retirement Income Savings Program (RISP). RISP, a new feature of the Hawker Beechcraft Savings and Investment Plan, provides a company contribution for employees hired or rehired on or after January 1, 2007. The contribution is from 3 to 9 percent, based on the employee’s age and service. The contribution goes into the employee’s Hawker Beechcraft Savings and Investment Plan account and can be invested by the employee in any of the plan investment options. Employees become vested (gain rights to this benefit) once they have successfully completed three years of service with the company.Employees represented by a bargaining unit are eligible for a different retirement benefit based upon years of credited service.
