  Frequently Asked Questions

Can we use Beech in reference to Beechcraft?

When referring to Hawker Beechcraft and the Beechcraft product line, any reference to Beech should be avoided.  Although we have a proud Beech heritage, the aircraft are Beechcraft.

Did you retain your FBO facilities and what are they called now?

Yes. All of the former Raytheon Aircraft Services will now be called Hawker Beechcraft Services. Hawker Aircraft Services will remain.

Do we use Hawker and Beechcraft in the name before the name of a model?

Our Hawker and Beechcraft product lines use only the product brand name before the model, not the company name. For example: it is a Beechcraft Premier IA, not Hawker Beechcraft Premier IA.

How should individual HBS facility names be written?

The Hawker Beechcraft Services facilities uses the following naming format: Hawker Beechcraft Services – Facility Location (i.e. Hawker Beechcraft Services – Tampa).

Is there a hyphen in the Hawker Beechcraft name?

There is no hyphen between Hawker and Beechcraft in the company name. It should be written as Hawker Beechcraft Corporation.

Should we use the model number of a product before or after the product name?

The official names of the aircraft include the product name before the model, followed by the model number – i.e., Beechcraft Bonanza G36, not the G36 Bonanza; Hawker 900XP, not the 900XP Hawker. The full official aircraft name should be used initially.

Are the Beechcraft King Airs called Super King Airs?

No. The Beechcraft King Air 350, B200GT or C90GTi product names do not use the word “Super.” It is a super airplane, but any reference to "Super" King Air should be avoided.
