Our newly opened location at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway airport is a full-service MRO offering airframe, avionics, engine and AOG support. This new company-owned facility provides the world-class customer service and support expected from one of the largest service center networks. A second phase of construction will provide additional hangar space, administrative offices and back shops, a spacious customer lobby and fully equipped customer offices.
Mesa is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. and although it is a suburb of Phoenix, it is larger than better known cities such as Miami, Minneapolis or Cleveland. Mesa’s HoHoKam Park is baseball spring training home for the Chicago Cubs. Superstition Springs Center is a hot spot for shopping and on Saturday evenings in May through August, free concerts are featured at its outdoor amphitheatre.
With an average of 325 days of sunshine, Mesa has near perfect weather and makes it possible to enjoy the outdoors year round. There are more than 40 golf courses within minutes of downtown Mesa. Visitors can also enjoy river rafting, a lake cruise, desert tours or a ride in a hot air balloon. Area sports teams include: the Phoenix Coyotes NHL sports franchise, the Phoenix Suns NBA, Arizona Diamondbacks MLB, and the Phoenix Cardinals NFL football.
Hawker Beechcraft Services’ newest location opened in January and is now scheduling maintenance for 2009.
