Beechcraft T-6B
The Beechcraft T-6B is based on the Beechcraft T-6A, already in service as the U.S. military’s Joint Primary Aircraft Training System (JPATS) aircraft, and is also the primary trainer for the NATO Flying Training Canada (NFTC) program and the Hellenic Air Force of Greece.
A significant upgrade, the T-6B retains all of the inherent training and flying characteristics that have made the T-6A the most successful primary trainer in the world, while introducing an open architecture advanced avionics suite that includes a Head-Up Display (HUD), Up Front Control Panel (UFCP), Multifunction Displays (MFD’s) and Hands On Throttle and Stick (HOTAS) mirroring the systems and capabilities of today’s front-line aircraft. This enables the training of complex advanced systems and information management skills required of the military aviators of the future in a safe, low-cost platform with which the student is already familiar. With effective training extended to up to 180 hours, the T-6B training system allows you to introduce advanced concepts and mission skills earlier and in a lower cost platform, extending the life of more costly advanced training aircraft and optimizing training budgets.
