Basic ISR surveillance typically includes day and night imagery with an electro-optic/infrared sensor and a real-time data link. This can easily be accomplished in a King Air C90 or B200GT.
More demanding ISR activities may involve both strategic (wide-area) and tactical (immediate area) surveillance. For this expanded role, a high performance surveillance radar system and battlefield self-protection can be added. For increased payload and endurance, the longer range King Air 350ER or Hawker series aircraft can be utilized.
The King Air and Hawker series aircraft offer flexibility in the field, excellent airborne performance, and reliability that results in mission readiness rates routinely over 95 percent.
