Supplier Requirements
Hawker Beechcraft Corporation's Supply Chain Quality Assurance group is responsible for supplier approval, surveillance, and performance measurement, as well as receiving, inspection and change control functions.
It is Hawker Beechcraft Corporation's policy to procure from those suppliers that offer the most cost-effective products and services. Approved suppliers are selected through a rigorous screening process.
"Supplier Quality Requirements Document QC00" can be accessed through "Quality Documents" link under "Supplier Information/Contractual Flowdown".
Stringent FAA requirements mandate that we control our supplier base, review Purchase Orders for Quality Flowdown, and inspect incoming Orders for compliance to the Purchase Order.

Quality Flowdown
Hawker Beechcraft Corporation's Purchase Orders may reference additional quality requirements imposed by contract or policy. The clauses identified in Attachment 1022 (available in the Attachments section of the site) are designed to further define the quality requirements being imposed on our suppliers. The information contained in each clause is contractually binding and as such is part of the Hawker Beechcraft Corporation incoming inspection plan.

Processes & Suppliers
Hawker Beechcraft Corporation's requires that certain Processes in our manufacturing cycle are controlled and in some instances require our suppliers to utilize only Hawker Beechcraft Corporation approved suppliers.
In the event that the Hawker Beechcraft Corporation purchase order references Quality flowdown Attachment 1022, Clause 136 (See Attachments section), the supplier is required to insure a Hawker Beechcraft Corporation approved supplier is utilized to perform the process. The Special Process Index lists the processes identified on Hawker Beechcraft Corporation drawings and / or specifications that must be performed by a Hawker Beechcraft Corporation approved processor. When the Hawker Beechcraft Corporation Purchase Order references Quality flowdown Attachment 1022, Clause 133 (See Attachments section), the supplier is required to insure a Hawker Beechcraft Corporation approved Supplier is utilized to procure the metallic raw material required to manufacture the contracted parts. The Hawker Beechcraft Corporation Approved Raw Material Suppliers list identifies the currently approved Suppliers.
Suppliers must also have special approval to produce tooling for Hawker Beechcraft Corporation. The Hawker Beechcraft Corporation Approved Tooling Supplier List identifies the currently approved suppliers.

Quality Assurance - United Kingdom
Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, based in Wichita, Kansas, USA, operates a supplier assurance system for its international suppliers (those located outside of the United States) primarily supporting the Hawker business jet program.
This system’s application abroad, while approved by Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, is entrusted to Hawker Beechcraft Quality Support Company, located at North Wales’ Hawarden Airport, near Chester, in the United Kingdom.

Supplier Assessment Approval and Surveillance
In order to comply with FAA requirements, Hawker Beechcraft Corporation has delegated the authority to Hawker Beechcraft Quality Support Company for supplier assessment, approval, surveillance including final inspection and/or test. This delegation of authority is flowed down from Hawker Beechcraft Corporation through FAA-approved procedures, to the approved supplier.
Hawker Beechcraft Integrated Foreign Supplier Assurance System
To ensure Hawker Beechcraft Corporation has a consistent and integrated approach to its foreign suppliers, the Hawker Beechcraft Integrated Foreign Supplier Assurance System (HBIFSAS) has been introduced - "HBIFSAS/QA/Quality Documents" can be accessed through "Quality Documents" link under "Supplier Information/Contractual Flowdown".
